I am assisting my agency in the deployment of ruggedized laptops in a fleet of vehicles. The laptops are the Getac B300 running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (32 bit), with Intel Core i7-3520M processors and 4 GB of RAM. Currently, we have about 50 units deployed, but we will be adding another 60 within the next year. Each laptop is received from the manufacturer and imaged by our Technology Services Department. The two bugs we can't seem to get past are random freezing and a shutdown process that sometimes never ends. Regarding the freezing, it happens at random times. Users could be on the internet or using a Public Safety application, or the computer could be idle. It doesn't appear to happen during any particular process, so it's been beyond us to resolve. Likewise, the computers will sometimes get into the shutdown mode that never ends. It doesn't always happen, and it doesn't seem to matter if it's attached to the docking station (manufactured specifically for the Getac B300) or not. Below is a link to the memory dump from one of the computers that has been freezing over the last couple of days. https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=AF7B9F3BAAA41FB7%21114 Could someone take a look at this and try to help me understand what is causing the freezing? Also, if you can speak to the shutdown problem as well, that would be tremendous. Thanks, Justin
