  1. This is not the first time I've had this problem, but now it seems like when I want to view the source of a webpage, nothing happens. Notepad doesn't open up and I can't view anything. Any fix for this or why this happens? My HTML editor in Internet options is set to Notepad so I don't know why this happens.
  2. What if I had a flash movie that allowed me to choose which scenes I wanted to view? Just like a DVD movie would, how would I convert that and put it on disc and still be able to use the interaction menu in choosing which scenes I wanted to view?
  3. What about Internet Explorer? Is it possible to do it from there? I just read something that you can look in your Temp Internet files folder and look for the file there and then save it to your desktop or anywhere else.
  4. If I wanted to download a flash file from a site would I need some sort of download manager to do so?
  5. Is it possible to download flash movies and convert them for putting on DVD? I've been finding a lot of good ones lately and I would like to save them to disc if possible. Someone said it was possible to do so in the flash player but I can't seem to do that. Thanks for any info.
  6. I had a feeling someone would say something like that. I know this all started right after I defragmented the drive, however I only used the defragmenter that is built into Windows and no other program. I even tried using a data recovery program and not the one you suggested yet, and some sectors were bad when it was being scanned. In this case, if I were to recover my files would I have to reformat the drive again?
  7. I don't know why this would happen, but all of a sudden my second hard drive is empty! I have two hard drives, one for storage and one for running an OS. My primary hard drive is running XP Pro and Win98 and of course my second drive is for storage. I don't understand it, my drive was fine earlier and now everything is completely gone. I tried restarting WIndows but that didn't help. I remember hearing that having two hard drives and running XP and 98 corrupts your files or soemthing, is that true? What can I do to get all my files back? I NEED THOSE FILES!
  8. OK, I'm kind of new to this whole thing so if you guys are going to give examples, I won't really know what you're talking about. Could someone just possibly tell me what the switch is?
  9. Yeah, a while back I had a CD-RW that I erased accidentally, thinking it was a different CD-RW with other data on it. Of course since then I knew there was nothing I could do. I looked everywhere in trying to figure out how to get the data back but never had any luck. Oh well....what can you do?
  10. I was asking about DOOM: Collector's Edition. So what if I want Doom to install on my CD? Maybe I want a CD that installs all my favorite games...big deal.
  11. Does anyone know what the silent install switch for this game would be? I'm sure it's /s but I didn't want to put it on CD and not have it work. Also, is there any specific files I would need to copy in order to make this work? I know on the CD there are a few different setup programs which both install the game, but I want to make sure I have the right ones. (forgive me if I dont make sense, its almost 3:30 in the morning here)
  12. I was wondering about this for a while, but if you have a CD-RW and do a quick erase on it, is it possible to recover any of the data, even though it wasn't permanently erased?
  13. There are two good programs that can do this, one of them is FREE and the other one is trial software. You can use ImTOO DVD Audio Ripper (trial), or you can use DVD Decrypter, which is the best free program for ripping DVD files such as audio or video, or for creating ISOs on your hard drive. If you need any help with this program, just let me know.
