thanks jaclaz i already saved date from it and i think i done fast test with seatools (something i booted from usb stick i find devolpers version on seagate site) i ll do that both tests again (long for a first time) and then i ll post here. my disk is Segate Barracuda 7200.11, model ST3750330AS, and serial number 9QK0ZVAC and firmware SD15, it is 750 GB. i know that if everything past good that my disk wouldn t been "fully functional" even then, but today most of disk don t last "for ever" neighter and i pay this pieace of shit before 4 years or more i am not sure any more and it "died" after couple months and i used to read this thred then but in that time wasn t so big as it today(it wasn t then manny people who managed to unbrick they disk as today) During this time this pieace of shit was laying around and i allmost forgot about it untill i was cleaning my place and find it and decide to give it a try, At that period i chaged 3 WD disks luckly for me they were all under warrenty and most importan they had official distrubuter for my country which seagate didn t have and i if wanted them directly to give me a new disk i would need to send my back to them and the closest place was nethelands and would cost for me as price of new disk, And btw, local store i buy it gave warrenty for 3 years but shortly after i bought my disk at them they "died" too,but was probably "resurrected" shorty after becase same people used to work at old company used too answer to phone in "new" company, probably the better word is " reincarnated". That is why i what to "repair" it so bad and i could buy new hdd today it would got for same money bigger disk but i want this piece shit to work at least some time ( 6-8 months at least) When i tried to "repair" it , i didn t expect that it would work i just hope maybe i learn something everything else was bonus. Now i ll do the test so we will see.
