Hey Guys, thx for all the inputs. I have learned a lot from you guys. Regarding the 8800GTS, I am only getting that card because I plan to keep it for 3 Plus years. So if you guys think that I should go the route of 8600, Let me know. The BIGGEST reason that I am looking at the 8800GTS is the on-board Memory. 8600GT has 256 and 8800GTS has 320 or 640. I have heard that there is NO Big difference between the 320 and 640. So would you guys recommend me that I go with 8800GTS 320MB or you guys still think I should go with 8600GT. Just to give you guys more info, I also want my garphic card to be HD Ready. Later when HD or Blue-Ray drives become avaiable for Lower prices I might get one. So if you guys can give me more input on this topic it would help me out even more. I will checkout the 8600GT. Just for FIY what is the BIGGEST Difference between 8600GT and 8800GTS? Regarding the Seven Fans I can cut down on them. If someone in here owns a Stacker, can you guys share you Stacker Setup with me Please! Once again thx for all the input guys! P.S. Fusion

Well Guys just to clear something up. My usage on my PC is Web, Photoshop, Multi-Media, Burn Stuff and Play Games here and there. I might do Over-Clocking when I get my processor. Why I am buying a 8800 GTS, because I just bought the Samsung 226CW Display (22") and I want to have a really good graphic card to go with it. I know its overkill and the only game titles I play are Need For Speed and Madden. But I still wanted a good card that will do what I need it to do and it will also make Vista Happy and Make me Happy. Thats why I plan to get the 8800 GTS Graphic Card. Regarding the Seven Fans, like I said I have a Stacker 830 and the reason I am using all the fans are because I don't want to have heat problems in the case. Plus all the fans are gona be controlled by Fan Controller that I bought. I rather do this then be sorry later. P.S. Fusion

Hey Guys, I just did a quick price check on the two brands of power supplys and I was suprised to see that I can get more watts for my money with OCZ. I just wanted to get your guys opinion on which one would you choose if you were in my spot. OCZ Model that I am looking at is: OCZ GameXStream 850W- OCZ850GXSSLI or 1010W - OCZ1010GXSSLI The Enermax Power Supply that I am looking at are: Enermax Galaxy EGA850EWL or Enermax Infiniti 720W In my opinion when I did the quick price check, OCZ really got my attention. I am not a Hard-Core Gamer. The Power Supply that I end up picking would have to put up with: Intel X38 Chipset, Intel Quad-Core Processor (45-nm) Asus or Intel Motherboard 2 Roms 4 HDs, One of them Raptor X I have a CM Stacker 830 With all seven 120mm Blue LED Fans And Plus other stuff that I have or will have in the system. This was just a quick list of things the power supply should be able to handal. So guys tell me if you were in my spot and you had to pick between OCZ or Enermax Power Supply, Which one would you choose? THX for all your help! P.S. Fusion

Hey Guys, I was just getting read to to buy the Nvidia G-Force 8800GTS 640MB EVGA Graphic Card, but I ran into an interesting article online. Hey Guys, I finally did enough Over-Time to get me a New LCD for the system I am building. I know there are a lot of brands out there. I am a person who is not a Hard-Core Gamer, but I do play games. I just wanted to get your guys opinion on which LCD is best for me, With your recommendations I can check out the LCDs and make my decision. Below is the Specs about me. My budget is between $200 - $350 ($400 Maybe) Size I am looking at 22" and (Maybe be 24" If the price is right) Really Good Brand (I do like Samsung and Dell LCDs) I don't need alot of Ports, Just the Basic Stuff (DVI and whatever else I will get) So there you have it. This is what I am looking for. If you guys have more recommendations, Please share them with me and Please help me get a really good LCD. Once Again Thank You for all your help! P.S. Fusion

Hey Guys, I know I haven't gotten my motherboard yet, but I just wanted to know which Memory Brand is good out there. The reason I haven't gotten my motherboard is because I am waiting for Intel to release the X38 Chipset. When it comes out, I plan to get the board. I know one thing and that is it is gona Support DDR-2 and DDR-3 and since DDR-3 is gona be really EXPENSIVE, I thought I go with DDR-2 way for now and get DDR-3 Later when the price goes down. With my old system I have used Kingston and Mushkin and I had no problems with them. I just wanted to get your guys thoughts on what other Good Brands I should look at. So if you guys can share your opinion on this subject, it will really help me out! Thx for all the help guys! P.S. Fusion

Thx for VLite, I enjoyed nLite and I plan to enjoy VLite and take out a lot of crap out of my Vista DVD! P.S.

Hey Guys, The reviews I am doing on the Q6600, will they be good reviews. The reason I ask this is because I have been hearing that the New Q6600 will have the G0 Stepping? And if you don't mind, can you please explain what is this G0 Steeping? THX! P.S. Fusion

Hey Guys, Now that I have decided that I am gona go with the Q6600, I need help in the Air Cooling area. I might or might now overclock, but I need to have the best Air cooling out there. So for the people who have Air cooling on there Q6600 or if you guys have good recommendations, Please share those with me. I am using a Cooler-Master Air cooling for my old system. So if you guys can give me your opinions on Good Air Cooling, It would really help me out and my Q6600 Processor! My Case is the Cooler-Master Stacker 830! P.S. Fusion!

Hey Guys, I have started to do reviews on the Q6600, So I am guessing I am gona go with the Q6600 After all. I just had few questions: 1) Can I get the Q6600 now (Of course after Price Cut)? 2) When I order it on-line, do I need to look for something regarding this processor (Stepping I guess or something else). Or do I just order the Q6600 Period? 3) Will this processor work when I get the X38 Chipset based Motherboards Intel or Asus? (Because I plan to get the 45nm based Quad-Core Next year or so) Thx for all the help guys! P.S. Fusion

Hey Guys, like I said before, I have NEVER overclocked in my entire life. Even the procesor I have now has never been overclocked. I just had two quick question, I have read that you can overclock the E6850 to 4Ghz on Air Cooling, is this correct? And second The Q6600, I am guessing that you need Water Cooling right? And if this is true, then I am not going to overclock this processor. I have never done water cooling either. One day has passed by and I thought I was sure that I want the Q6600, but now I Am starting to have second thoughts again. If I don't get the Quad-Core now, I will get to for sure when the 45nm comes out. I know alot of you guys said that The Q6600 is the best way to go. Maybe I will give it one more day and then I will make my Final Final Decusion! brucevangeorge to answer your question, I like to get as many answers I can from everyside. I hope you don't mind. THX! P.S. Fusion

Well guys after talking with my friends and thinking for 8 hours at work, I have made my decision, I am gona go with the Quad-Core Q6600 Processor and That my Final Choice. I will later next year or so will upgrade to the New 45-nm Processors. Now it time to do some Hard-Core Reviews on the Q6600 Model. Thx for all the help guys. P.S. Fusion
-
Hey Guys, thx for all you help. I have been thinking and I am leaning more and more towards the E6850, because I don't plan to keep that processor for long. I am planning to get the 45nm next year. I would like to have the quad-core, but I don't think I have many applications that would take advantage of my extra cores. Hopefully when Intel releases 45nm next year, I will get a Quad-Core with better FSB and hopefully more Clock Speed. So would you guys recommend me getting the E6850, if I don't plan to keep the processor for too long. Thats one of the reason I am waiting for the X38 Chipset. Later next year I am gona upgrade my processor to 45nm. After reading your guys comments I am getting more and more interested in Quad-Core! Once again, Thx for all the input guys! P.S. Fusion

Hey Guys, What happening? I was thrown off my chair when I saw the news from Intel’s new processors. I guess I can get a lot more power for my bucks. But I am being faced with a really hard problem. After read around a lot of News On Intel’s New Processors (Dual and Quad), I have a really hard choice to make. I am building a new system. Just to point out I am going to get a processor now and if I see good things from 45-nm, I will buy that when it comes out. I am also waiting for Intel’s upcoming X38 Chipset. The processor I get now (Dual or Quad or 45nm Processor) I want them to work with my new X38 Chipset. So I just wanted to give you guys my choice of my Chipset. Now my problem is What Processor I should get now? The choices I have are: The New Intel Core 2 Duo (E6850) (3.0Ghz) (FSB – 1333) (L2 – 4MB) (Price $266) Or The New Intel Core 2 Quad (Q6600) (2.40Ghz) (FSB – 1066) (L2 – 4MBx2) (Price $266) I am not a hard-core gamer. I play games here and there. I do a lot of burning DVD’S, Music, Photoshop and the usual computer stuff. I know I have read that Quad is good for 3D Stuff and Encoding and The Dual- Core (E6850) is good for Gaming. I just wanted your guys opinion on which way I should go. I biggest problem with Quad-Core (Q6600) is that not a lot of applications are out there that will take advantage of my extra cores. But Since the Price is the same for E6850 and Q6600 ($266), I really need your guys help. So if you guys can help me out with this problem and I let me know if these processors will work with the upcoming X38 Chipset, it would really help me out. I will by 45nm when it comes out for my New X38 Motherboard Intel or Asus Baby! THX Guys! P.S. Fusion

Thx again for all the input guys and after thinking alot I have made my decision and I am gona go with the Enermax Infiniti 720W (Nvidia SLi Certified) (EIN720AWT). I think and hope that this PS will take care my power needs and I also picked up some reviews that I am gona go threw. Once again Thx for all the help guys. P.S. Fusion
