So you recommend me just upgrading couple of this in my current Rig. But in your opinion what would be the best Replacement for my current QX9770 Processor. If not now, later I will need to build a new Rig. Usually if I am planning to change few things, I don't waste time replacing the whole system, but when I plan to Upgrade my Processor, Motherboard and System Ram, then I plan to Build a New Rig. I am not sure how current my current system is. I know the processor is coming to EOL soon and I am a person who like to play with new toys. Your Thoughts?

Well there is no time frame besides July of next Year. I know Intel is coming out with 32-nm 6-Core Processor in Q1 2010 and I think Motherboard and Processor will be Bought next year, including the system Ram. There are certain hardware that I can buy now and there are some that I have to by them later next year.

Hello there Guys, It getting to that time again and I need to start to work on my Blue Print for my Next Rig. Below you will find my current rig info. I build a new Rig every 3 – 4 years. So I wanted to get your thoughts on Hardware selection and what is the best direction to go into. There are certain Brand Names that I am gona follow. Processor – Intel, Motherboard – Asus, and of course OS – Microsoft. I just wanted to get your guys thoughts on the Main Components that what u guys recommend. I believe that my last Rig that I built name “Trance-Fuzion” was between 4,000 – 5,000 Dollars. I buy parts one by one so I don’t get a HUGE Credit Bill. Hello there Guys, I just finished trying out installing Win 7 from Flash Drive, Freaken Sweet. So Fast! So now I wanted to take my project up to the next step. Now I wanted to Create A Flash Drive With Windows XP Pro, Vista and Win 7. I know how to make the USB Bootbable, but what I don't know is, How do I create a Menu to Choose what OS to install. I think you guys understand what I am trying to do. Have a Main-Menu with the Listed OS to Install. So if you guys can point me to the right direction on How can I do this, it would really help me out Big Time. Also On the Flash Drive, Do I just create a Folder for Each OS? Hello there Guys, long time no talk. I have been beating my head with this decision for a long time. Just to let you know right from the back, I am a PC Guy only. I have never bought any Apple Product. Nothing against the Company, they are cool. I just never had any interest. But ever since the touch has been out, I always wanted to buy me one. But every time I get ready to buy, THE PC GODS always Punished me HARD and I don't get my itouch. I am pretty sure that there are alot of you, who are just like me, PC Only, but you own the iTouch. I wanted to ask you guys your thoughts on my decision. Please help me out guys. iTouch is the only that I will ever by from Apple. Will I Angry the PC GODS? Hello there Guys, long time no talk. How’s everyone doing? Well I am back and of course need your guy’s opinion. In July my new Rig will be One Year Old. (I Feel Really Happy). I have updated The System Ram from 4GB to 8GB and I have also put in the New Raptor 150GB HD and I am glad that this is my now Main HD. So total of 4 HD in my system and of course running Windows 7 Ultimate RC as my OS. This I have updated so far. Now I was planning to update couple of other things, so this is where you guys come in. I have couple of Question for you, so here they are: 1) My case right now is CM Stacker 830 Black and of course it’s Big. I am looking to replacing this case with something new. My Price range is below $250. I have been looking around and so far this is the only case that has caught my attention ]Lian Li - PC-V1010 or PC-V1000Z or PC-7FW or PC-60FW Your thoughts on these Case or if you have any other recommendations, please feel free to share. Thank you for your time. 2) Graphic card I have right now is 8800GT and I have no problem with at all. I was looking into up-dating this too. Is this a Good Time to Update or Wait? Also what would be your guy’s recommendations? Nvidia or ATI doesn’t matter. Price wise I am looking to send $200 or less! This is would be used for Windows 7 and Casual Gaming. Settle down there. Its our job to enforce the forum rules or else this place would turn into a madhouse. As for your issue. Take one of the working machines and go into the Internet Properties and the Advanced. Verify that all the settings there are the same as on the non-working one. Also what kind of accounts are used to log into the computers? Does each student/user have their own login? Has there ever been a case when a training fails one day and works the next day on the same computer? Are you on a domain and if so are there any GPOs used that can effect the web browser? Hey Guys, first of all I am sorry, if I have mad some of you mad. I guess that was not the right thing to do. So Again I am Sorry. 1) The people who are loging in have there own account with there access requirements. 2) Users has there own accounts. They don't have the same rights as Admin of course. 3) For some people it hasn't been working at all. They click on slide-one and click next, answer question, click Next on Slide Two and nothing happens. Just hear double-click. 4) Yes, the users are in domain and I have to look into the GPO stuff. Flash - Version 10 JRE - Latest Browser - IE6 It a web based trebing. Nothing is being installed on the machine. Users just log-in and start from there. Hello there Guys, I was working at my new gig I got and I am in the IT Field. my question for you guys is the following. One of my personal is doing a Web Based Traning Course which requires Flash Playet to be installed and I already did this. I un-installed and Re-installed Flash Player 10 and the system also has JAVA installed too. So here is the problem. The user launches the Slide-Show Traning Course and he answers question 1 and clicks next, he goes to slide 2 answers the question and When he click on Next, Nothing Happens. But I do hear Two-Clicks. There is pop-blocker enables, all turned off. And I had other user go threw this traning course without any problems. I only have few cases that are having these problems. So can anyone comment onto what is the problem here. I really need your guys help, because I am runnin gout of ideas to try out. So if anyone has any Idea on to what's going on, please share with me. Iyt's not just SP, but also hotfixes. But it looks like that when you choose the version of Vista, vlite will only work on that version. So for ex, if I choose Vista x64 and want to intergate hotfixes, it will only intergate the hotfixes into Vista x64, Right?

Win 7 on Raptor Drive, topped with 8GB of System Ram (With Paging File Turned Off), my system is on Fire. Well enough about my system. Here are my questions: 1) I just made my first AIO Vista x86 and x64 Single DVD with Only Vista Ultimate Version. Here my question When I am intergating updates and SP, is there a way to intergrate them into both images with vLite or do I have to do these for each version 32 and 64? 2) Is it a good I dea to put Vista x86 and x64 and Windows RC x86 and x64 together? I am gona redoing my PC this week, cause I just bought the New Raptor 150GB that will be my Main HD and I am also gona go from 4GB System Ram to 8GB System Ram. Hello there Guys, I just wanted to know if there is a way to edit the Boot Manager. I have XP, Vista, and Win 7 Installted and when I get the menu to which os to launch, Is there a way to customize that. What I am trying to do is just change the Background. Right now it Black. Thx for the help man. I got everything working and I am also tweaking with some other DLL files. I was able to get my BG working. Now I only have one problme. My BG works all good, but after windows installs updates, then restart, and after restart the default background is shown. Any comments on this crazy problem. Just to let you know I am using VMware to test my ISO out. Is this ok? Agin thx for the help!

Hello there Buster, I hope you can help me out with my problem. I was finally able to edit my spwizimg.dll file and everything is going good so far. I am having one problem and that is the bg wallpaper of the first screen. When I click "Install Now" button and go to the next screen, my bg works, but at the first menu, the old BG keeps showing up. I have replaced my "spwizimg.dll" in all four places. 1) the root of your disk is Support\migwiz\spwizimg.dll 2) the root of your disk is\sources\spwizimg.dll 3) install.wim-mount\windows\system32\spwizimg.dll 4) boot.wim - mount\sources\spwizimg.dll Do I need to place the spwizimg.dll somewhere else too? Also do you know what file to edit to change the text color for the setup screen. I am chaning everything I can, but I am running into the text color problem. So if you know, please let me know the file name. thank you! My Project Info: Windows Vista Ultimate X64 Bit OS Edit spwizimg.dll with - Restorator 2007 Microsoft Windows AIK Installed - I am using the GImageX to mount my Image. Hello there Guys, Hopefully my question isn’t too weird, but I really need your guys input on this question of mine. As most of you may know I was lucky enough to get hooked up with a Free Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 Processor clocked at 3.2GHz with 12MB of Cache and 1600FSB. If you didn’t know this before, now you know. I finally got my new Rig Up and Running and so far everything has been working out Really Well. The only think that I am gona change is the TV Turner, but other than that, I am really having fun with my system. I have NEVER Over-Clocked anything in my entire life. A lot of people told me that I should OC my QX9770, but I was a bit nervous and afraid that I might kill the processor. Now this is where you guys come in. I am looking for some Good OC Guides and if you guys know of any, please share them with me. Also, what are the Pro’s and Con’s Of OC? And just to let you guys know, I am gona be OC on Air Cooling. I am not going near Water-Cooling yet. I mean the processor I have is based on 45-nm and I have read a lot of info online and some people have pushed the QX9770 on Air-Cooling into the 4GHZ Plus area. So please comment on this topic and help me out guys. Funny story is that I use to be so sacred to even Up-Date my System Bios in the old days, but now I am cool. So help this newbie out guys. Quick Questions: 1) What are the Pro’s and Con’s of OC and in my case Air-Cooling OC? 2) Should I OC my System Ram too? 3) Should I also look into getting higher clocked System Ram (Like G-Skill DDR-2 PC2 8500 Kits)? Hello there guys, I just wanted to get a better understanding for 64-Bit Computing. My new Rig will be 64-Bit (Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770) Ready and since I have never used 64bit system, I just wanted to learn more about it. So if you guys can answer few of my question, it would really make my life a lot easier. 1) I know the biggest problem these days is 64-Bit Driver Support? Is this still Ture or Have things changed? 2) When it comes to software, I know the software have to be written in order to take advantage of 64-Bit System and Multi-Core, I am gona do my best to get all my software 64-Bit Ready, but Will I still be able to run 32-Bit Based Software on 64-Bit system? I am pretty sure that not all software out there are gona be 64-Bit ready. Your Thoughts? And if you guys can give me any good links that talk about 64-Bit Computing, Please share them with me. Hello there Guys. I have been thinking a lot about my Motherboard Situation. As many of you may know, I bought the Asus Maximus Formula SE at the end of last year knowing that I was gona put the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 in it. But ever since I got the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 Processor, I have been double minded. And the thing that I am fighting with is the OFFICIAL SUPPORT FOR 1600FSB on the X48 Chipset. I know that a lot of the X38 Including my Asus MAxumus Supports 1600FSB after Bios Up, but it's an UNOFFICIAL Suport for 1600FSB on the X38 Chipset. I went online and found that the "ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard" is indeed DDR2 Based Motherboard. I am not gona buy a Motherboard that is Based on DDR3. It's just too freaken EXPENSIVE. So this is where I need your guys help.I need to know if I should go ahead and Sell my Asus Maximus Formula SE (X38 Chipset) and Get me the "ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard" (X48 Chipset and OFFICAL 1600FSB Suport). I wanna play Safe with my motherboard situation. I know there isn't alot of difference between X38 and X48 Chipset. But I just want to make sure that I won't be Sorry Later. I am Pretty sure that Asus is gona release "ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA SE (Maybe) and ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA EXTREME", but I don't really care about these last two models. I think I should be ok with "ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard." So any you guys share your comments/recommendations on what I should do with my Situation?
