    It is necessary because MS gets really P*SSED when they have proprietary files being randomly distributed.

    So in an effort to not have MS on his but nuhi decided (and wisely so) that he must remove the file.

    Thus if you are really dedicated to using vLite and customizing the Vista DVD then you must install waik. You can always uninstall it afterwords.

    Plus there is a very easy solution if you care to read a few posts in this forum section relating to the exact same thing...

    you are a star, man... just saved 1.29GBs to download to a ton of people

    Encarta 2006 - no installation

    actually i used "setup /a" for an administrative install, and the setup copied all the contents in a folder i wanted

    then i edited setup.ini to that:

    i removed IE6 install infos and .net framework, since i already install them as default

    i'm willing to do an install based on "setup /qn" (that works and installs encarta 2006, kids and geo atlas) and a winrar selfextracting archive for "CONTENT" directory :yes:

    hi wraith, i was trying to modify the javascript file for get an 3-dimension array from a 2-dimension program-structure

    i've achieved that is not easy... because there is no more correspondance between xplode internal ItemID and javascript ItemID (simply 'cuz they're on 2 levels!)

    and.... my code is also a bit ugly (yes, i'm not a javascript coder :D ), can you implement some 2 new functions for make a multilevel structure ?

    now there are only 2 levels

    <item attrib1="">

    .....

    ....<tag>blabla</tag>

    ....

    <tag attrib1="..." attrib2="">

    ...

    ....

    </tag>

    </item>

    all we need i think is a main and sub item category, like <mainitem> or so on

    like this i can enumerate items and mainitems with 2 different counters

    slipstreaming custom boot screen

    hi everyone, i found an interesting boot screen in .bootskin format...

    so i used bootskin (now free) for apply it

    the trouble is... that i can't find what file it modifies!!! i want to slipstream the modified files in my unattended cd.. but i don't find infos neither on google :wacko:

    help :whistle:

    edit, more informations: my problem is that ntoskrnl.exe is the same as the ORIGINAL version, so i can't find out where bootskin puts the modified bitmap!! :}
