I have a server with Vmware 4.0 and 6 HDD in an array. I have an enterprise copy of 2k3 R2 that I coped to my HDD, added the drivers for the Adaptec 3405 using the nlite software (http://www.adaptec.com/en-us/speed/raid/aac/windows/aacraid_xp_x64_ws08-ws03-vista-w7_x64_x86_b17342_cert_exe.htm) and created the ISO and burned to CD. I boot from CD/DVD, it launches install. It still asks for F6/Floppy but I ignored it. As the setup progressed I saw it load the Adaptec Raid drivers, then when I got to the point where you can express install I chose custom install...and was informed there are no hard drives in the computer. Any help/ideas?
