  1. I have found the English version of Mozilla Firefox in 1.07 and 1.5 on the internet repackaged as msi files. Obviously these may be of use to some people, but considering I never made these files myself I obviously can not make any assurance regarding them other than state that I have tested the files in virtual pc first and scanned then them with ClamWin AV - but then again in not responsible for your choices - make up your own mind http://www.filefactory.com/get/f.php?f=7bb...18afaa4e2be739e <----- Firefox 1.5 http://www.filefactory.com/get/f.php?f=d3a...190d17ab921b087 <----- Firefox 1.07
  2. Im attemping to enter a registry setting similar to this into WPI and in not certain how to lay it out Considering that WPI only has one line I assume it should be as follows Is this correct or should I identify the seperate lines with a character such as |
  3. Quite strangely enough this 'change' makes no difference what so ever, however I have resolved the problem now by testing WPI on a system NOT using Virtual PC and both my switches and yours work without problems. My Virtual PC installation renames some of the drive letters which includes the optical drive and perhaps this is what creates the issue with WPI, im really not certain. But outside of Virtual PC all works correctly Just thought I would mention it incase anyone has similar problems
  4. When testing my WPI installation in Virtual PC it reports that the applications can not be found on the CD. For example when installing OpenOffice I use this information :- Now when I change the %CDROM% to the actual drive letter the installation works as expected. Im obviously wondering if the issue is related to the way Virtual PC handles drives and renames drive F: to D: in this situation which is the optical drive. So can anybody clarify this situation or inform me if I have my switches wrong ?
  5. Im attempting to create a unattended windows disk with an alternative logon screen which has been created as described on the MSFN site, however the registry keys mentioned have no information regarding how to call these are they done with a batch file or runonce or some other way ? Any information regarding this would be most helpfull
  6. Ive been trying to replace the bootscreen on my unattended installation as described by the guide, although I have no success The batch file which I copied from the guide appears to run when you log onto Windows however the boot screen remains the same (normal one) after reboot yet I recieve no error messages I would actually prefer to use the boot screen found at this location if possible :- http://www.dr-pepper.de/html/xp_boot/Compu...ckedEdition.htm Im just lost and have no ideas on how to do this, ive tried a number of times with no success.. any advice would be most welcome Has anyone got an alternative boot screen I can download to check if its my construction of this file thats the problem ?
  7. Thanks for the info and having searched and read the information, there does appear to be issues of sorts withe the website.. I hope its back online soon so I can download Xplode
  8. is the explode website currently offline as I can not get it to load in IE or Firefox. In fact I have only viewed it through google's cache, which may not be current... I wish to download xplode does anyone have alternative links for it and a manual or faq for it
  9. Im attempting to create my Runonceex.cmd file and although I do not currently appear to be having any major problem which I believe is due to luck. I would like to really understand what I am doing, as such I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the following parameters actually mean, and in what context you would use each /silent -p\"-s /v\"/qn\"\" /qn /s /silent /noreboot /NO_UI /qb- /verysilent /sp- /noqp /autoinstall
