First, let me just say that I am new to this forum and I didn't know where to put this so I put it here. I need to do a system recovery on a Presario 6370us. I don't actually have the system, I just took the Presario MB and hard drive out to build my computer. Now, the only problem is that I have all of the system recovery disks except for disk 2. Does anyone know where I can get the files or a copy of the disk?? I've already talked to Compaq support online. They told me that I could buy system restore disks off of their website. I went to get the recovery disks and they didn't have them. The reason that I need to do system restore is that I cannot access Windows XP, I can't even start at safe mode!! Every time I try to it stops at Mup.sys and gives me a blue screen. I have researched this error and the only thing that many people have said about it is to do a repair reinstall or a system recovery. If anyone can give me help on this error also, I would greatly appreciate it. Keep in mind that this model is from 2002, which makes it fairly old, so I really didn't expect Compaq to have the system recovery disks.
