  1. Backwards compatibility

    Hi, just a simple question. I have windows 98se, how backwards compatible is it with other versions of windows. I'm basically interested in knowing if I can use software from say windows 3.1 I searched here and the web, all anyone talks about is backwards compatibility between windows 98, xp, and 7, I can't seem to find any topics on 9X compatibility with pre 9X software. Thanks.
