Hi everyone, Sorry for being mute during the previous weeks, but I was very busy with my job. I have noticed all the comments and I will try to fix all for the next beta (planned before Xmas). Concerning the patching process, I remind you that Energize patches the files only if they exist on the computer. I have designed a log function so that wa can easily share the bugs in the future. Bug known due to KB925902 update (Google it for more details). No solution as far as I know, sorry. My solution : uninstall Energize, uninstall KB925902 update, re-install Energize. The Readme warns users before installing : NOT compatible with Microsoft Windows Update KB925902 See U

Sorry this feature is not planned to be integrated. When Energize will be released (no more beta status), I will also release the sources and perhaps someone will integrate this feature See U

Hi, 1. As I told you, it is a good idea, but I'm not using that method. I prefer checking file size (I will probably add file version in next versions). But this is not my priority now. 2. No switches options for unattend installation. Someone could do it by using my sources and the ones from XPero. Concerning the shell32 and users32 bug linked to Activesync, I can not test it to solve it. Someone has to investigate since I have switched to Vista. Good luck

@ ThunderNor: In the prerequisites of the installer, it is clearly explained that Energize is not compatible with Microsoft Update KB925902. I guess that all your damage is due to the conflict between them... Energize makes shell32.dll size increase (something around 30 Mo). Is the only way I find to integrate the vista avi animations (copy and delete) and it is why there is a bug with Microsoft Update KB925902. Thanks for your understanding. I will release tonight the sources (as promised) so that anyone could modify Energize and improve it. See U

No update concerning shell32.dll bug, sorry. I am not so smart to solve that huge issue, perhaps someone could help... See U

@ ThunderNor: The issue is linked to the visual style. The startbutton shouldn't appear as a square. To make the startbutton like in the preview, I managed the "content margins" corresponding to the text in the startbutton. In French is "Démarrer", in English is "Start", etc. So the parameter is linked to the length of the text to adjust the size and the way that the startbutton appears. I created the visual style with a french version and it works perfectly I am sad that it doesn't work with otehrs languages. I will release my sources this week-end so that someone could fix that because I won't be able... I have switched to Vista and now I work on a patch for Vista... More news in the incoming weeks. tap52384 & Wesmosis: This fetaure is not included in the pack. Someone will be able to add it when I will release the sources (by the end of the week, if the my internet connexion is still alive...). See U

BudsieBuds: Thanks for your proposal, but I haven't planned to add more skins in Energize. Furthermore, I do not want to promote P2P softs... tap52384: No, sorry but Energize won't integrate these softs because they are not multilanguage. Hi, I have investigated how to make a patch to change the "ImageBase" thanks to dedicated soft. I did not succeed in automazing that task ... Perhaps, using hard code (Dephi, C, or VB) could help. If someone could try it will be helpful. If not, my recommendation will be to uninstall the windows update responsible of that bug... I know that is not the safer solution. Reducing the shell32.dll size won't be possible due to high size of the "avi" inside the file. See U

Zedox: You right concerning the way to install my pack, I need to find a better way to do it. Concerning the shell32.dll file, the size is around 30mb after the install (due to high quality avi and bmp). Hard bug to fix! I will let know the community about my improvements based on dead0's solution. See U

Hi to everyone, This issue is not due to a corrupted file inside my pack, it seems to be linked to a windows update patch : http://www.crystalxp.net/news/en170-BricoP...es-Crashes.html My solution is to uninstall my pack and then uninstall KB925902 patch. Then re-install my pack, it should work. For the final release, I will try to add a warning during the install and the reload. I will try to release a new RC on the next week ... See U
