  1. BioHaZarD... You Say : ((( there is a xpboot.img file that gets copied or put as a seperate track on the CD so that the computer treats the CD as a boot floppy to run the winnt.exe ))) i have an image to do that.. not like normal windows XP poot CD. in normal case.. it tells u to press any key to boot from CD-rom .. & u should do that fast or PC'll poot from hard Drive. what i did.. is a normal (windows98 start-up disk) but editing it's Autoexe.bat So it boot directly wihtout asking u to press any keys, Auto loading (smartdrv.exe), & puts u at the first screen of windowsXP setup. i test it to make pootable XP-CD.. & it working fine,,
  2. HOW can i escape from adding CD-key of windows xp in the (Answer file) when i delet it's line in answer file.. winXP setup tell my that i put wrong CD-key in script file (answer file )..! i want setup to ask user for his CD-key without giving any messages ! other meaning.. whant the license agreement & the cd-key window to appear for the end user to put his CD-key.. what i should do in the answer file to make this Go ?? --------------- * any one know any thing about (bootcfg1.exe) ?? it gives me worng message when i open windows explorer ??
  3. Thanks Bi0haZarD.. Yesterday.. i managed to do some fix to make the setup never search the CD-rom for winnt.sif it's not a good way.. but it worked.. all i do a patch file with this command @echo off cd i386\ start /i winnt32 /unattend1:unattend.txt exit ------------ where (unattend.txt) is the answer file , i put it inside (i386) folder i think (winnt.sif) for CD installation only.. !!! the setup gos fine.. it's all about (winnt32 /unattend1:unattend.txt ) command.. it tels the setup that it's an Unattended setup.. & the answert file is there.. if there is mutch petter way for this.. please tell me.. By the way.. this command for New istallation ONLY.. not for updating ..
  4. Hii i need help about making unattended XP istall.. but from HardDrive.. not from istallation CD !! -How can i use Unattended install when my XP source files (installation Files) were in my hard drive & not from CD . it's all about "Unattend.txt" & "winnt.sif" ,, but don't know how !! i know i can use CD unatteded install by copying "Winnt.sif" inside (i386) but what about when I have installation files on my HardDrive ??? *-Other meaning.. ( when U copy windowsXP installation CD to ur HardDrive ) i think .. during whendows setup.. it search floppy & CD-rom for (winnt.sif).. But it doesn't look for it in (i386) folder.
