fellow programmers... heres one qn to ask.. how are we supposed to insert the values from VB.NET coding to the .exe file which will be running using the cmd prompt? any idea? or perhaps is it possible to do such codings? pls advise.. thanks.

heyo im a greenhorn on vb.net.. thus i nid programming help in calling an external .exe program. i tried Shell("shutdown2.exe") but it cant work. any other suggestions on how this can be done? at the same time, the program im workin on is supposed to be able to let the user select the day and time then link to the shutdown2.exe which is goin to be executed usign cmd prompt. any idea how shld i go about doin this? thanks alot
