  1. Many thanks Chunkdog but it's not really what I am looking for. Regards, Dave
  2. Jack&gill here, HELLO! Anybody there???????
  3. Hi all, I am currently working on a bootable floppy disk that is loaded with batch files that will semi-automate the building of a Mini Windows 98SE system under 10 meg. (If there are any questions as why I am doing this, then the only answer I have is that it seemed like a good Idea at the time) Once completed, I intend to fire it out on the net as a freebie for others to use. The problem I have encountered is that I am using free software to compile it, namely Odi's LFN tools & I am trying to extract the windows folder structure (Without any files therein) That is without the My docs, recycle. Program files etc. The help file in odi's tools (Extract taken from is as follows): C:>LCOPY . D:\ /S "The last line would copy the directory structure only (no files). With switches /S LCOPY always mirrors the directory structure, even if no matching file is found." My question is has anyone had any experience in using Odi's LFN tools & can you advise me as to the correct dos line that will just copy the Windows Folder & underlying SUB DIR's without the other folders with the use of LCOPY. I only seem to be able to copy the lot & I don't want that. Sorry about the paraphrasing & lengthy script but I am new to this, and a little weak on DOS. any help would be appreciated?
