Artex

Perhaps off topic - but I noticed that when copying files from Windows 7 to Windows 98SE (plus this SP 3.2), the copies take FOREVER - moving at speeds of only up to 600KB/s or so. Is this just the nature of the beast? I've tried a different network cable, switch, NICs, forcing NIC speed/duplex, etc. No matter what I do, the transfers are just terribly slow.
