  1. Let's see if the Drive trick works, otherwise I'll put it on Dropbox... https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8dMU8Rgv8EVbDBGT3RsUGhqRjg/edit?usp=sharing
  2. That's weird, it works for me in all my internet browsers, logged in or not. Give it another try and let me know... Will try other site if it doesn't work.
  3. Hi, I'm coming back with the usual combination of high DPC/sound stuttering in Windows 7 x64. It happened to me before and I managed to pin it down to AVG issues before. Uninstalled it and everything ran smoothly until a few days ago. I know I did some updates with my antispyware software and also with the Microsoft Anti-Malware but doing rounds of disabling stuff I haven't managed to correct the problem so any help would be most welcome. I've run xperf as I was told when I found the AVG issue and this is the file with the result: CPU I have a Toshiba Satellite with these specs: OS: Windows 7, x64 Processor: Intel i7-3610QM @ 2.30GHz RAM: 16GB Sound: Onboard Realtek Video: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M Cheers!
  4. The update didn't work but somebody else told me AVG was faulting netbt.sys. I had tried stopping it before since I had read there were conflicts and it didn't work, but uninstalling it completely did the trick. Had my computer running for a couple of days and still no sign of trouble.
  5. Updated and restarted. Fingers crossed... It is annoying the Toshiba website kept saying all my drivers were up to date. That's why I kept thinking it was more a driver incompatibility than an out of date one.
  6. Sorry about that. Sorted now... http://www.mediafire.com/download/oslb6fhocn8byy9/DPC_Interrupt.etl
  7. Been having the same issue for some time. NDIS being annoying, I think. It wasn't a particularly bad period and the analysis is not long but there you go... Xperf: https://www.mediafire.com/?sj3jkjb66dyjuez And a capture of my LatencyMon: http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/6572/fqly.jpg
  8. please upload the trace and send me a link. Since I downloaded all the drivers from the Toshiba website and disabled the Ethernet the spikes don't go beyond 1ms, are less frequent and I haven't had a sound disruption. Only NDIS and sometimes the iaStor give me some high readings now (still don't understand why NDIS is using the CPU if the device is disabled). I'll keep LatencyMon running on the background from time to time just to check and if I get anything strange or the sound problems come back I'll trace it and send you the file. Thanks!
  9. I'm coming with the tail between my legs and similar problems. I just bought a new Toshiba Satellite P875-102 and it started coming up with the sound issues due to high CPU usage. I installed LatencyMon and ndis.sys immediately came as the main problem. Tried to update the network drivers from the Device Manager but couldn't find anything so I disabled the power management for both the Ethernet (the one controlled by NDIS) and the wireless as it was suggested and went to the Intel website. Downloaded an update for the WLAN but couldn't find anything for NDIS so I disabled the Ethernet. However, NDIS keeps coming as the main culprit with seriously high spikes. How's that possible if I disabled the device? Anything I can do about it? Also iaStor.sys came very high a few times so I downloaded the latest driver for the Intel Rapid Storage Technology and so far it seems quiet. Tcpip.sys also gave me a few huge spikes but I haven't got a clue how to adjust that. Any ideas? Thanks!
