12-8-04 Problem: "Dial-up to the Internet" option disabled/ greyed out Hello! I just installed Windows 2000 5.00.2195 SP2 w/ all Hot Patches on an HP Pavilion 6736 desktop box with 191 megs of RAM and a Celeron processor. I stripped a few Windows components from the install disk with nLite but don't remember which items. The install was successful with one exception: While trying to configure Dial-up access through the Network Connection Wizard, of the five options offered, one, the "Dialup to the Internet" option is disabled/ greyed out. Apparently, I went a bit TOO lite with nLite. :-) Anyone have suggestions for saving this install? P.S. The modem: HP Smart Lucent V.90 Win Modem Data/Fax PCI Device manager indicates that the modem is installed and "working properly". Modem Diagnostics, again, "O.K."
