  1. I had the same problem. This solution resolved it: KB941206. It looks like a network printer installation turned off the Upnp services. You need to go to add/remove windows components and turn the network services back on for upnp devices. If it is already on, then you may need to disable / enable it to correct any corruption of the upnp services. It took me a while to come to this solution. Hope this helps somebody.
