I have PowerDVD 6 in my unattended install in runonceex. But when it should install, a Box comes with 'DirectX 9 needed', and it aborts. The Problem is, DX9c was installed at the 12-min stage on setup with svcpack.inf. [...] KB######.exe /Q /O /N /Z dxsetup.exe /silent qchain.exe but when runonceex finishes and startmenu is there (before restart), I can run dxdiag and its 9.0c. Does s.o. know how tosolve this? System is XP Pro SP1 (I don't want Sp2) thx 4 help Harm

Hi all, I've got another prob. I merged some Hotfixes into the unattended Windows XP Sp1, but I don't see some of them in the final install under 'Add / Remove programs', e.g. the KB823980, which is the Blaster-patch! And I got a msg-box when nlite is integrating the patches, (KB823980 Setup) and it says: UPDATE [-u][-f][-n][-o][-z][-q][-l] and the explanation for these letters, and the only option is an 'OK'-Button. Don't know if this has something to do with. Has so. got a solution for this prob? And is there a list with the essential Hotfixes I need with XP Sp1 ? (I don't want Sp2) atm I have 27 Patches and Fixes to integrate, perhaps some of them are not primary neccessary. thx Harm

I want to install an unattended XP SP1 but at the point where the setup is copying the files on the disk, right at the beginning it says it can't copy the file qedit.dll. I don't know if this file is essentially for Windows o. other programms. I only found a qedit.dl_ on the disk, but i can copy this file in windows. I tried to install it with 3 Drives, all the same, can't copy this file. Has someone a solution fore this prob or got the same problem? thx Harm
