About 3 weeks ago I downloaded nLite and, without reading any documentation (really), I managed to build a Windows XP CD with an unattended installation and some drivers for my favorite desktop computer. It all worked fine and it was very intuitive. So, tonight I started investigating how I would go about slipstreaming service pack 3, SATA drivers, and hotfixes. Right now, the aforementioned add-ons are the least of my worries; I absolutely cannot get nLite to save any of the unattended information nor my drivers - which worked perfectly a couple of weeks ago. Oddly, it does slipstream service pack 3. But the unattended stuff just doesn't work. By the way, I am not building from a CD which has been previously "diddled" with - this is the same, virgin XP install disc which I successfully modified a few weeks ago. I wasted about 6 CDs...finally installed VMware to test the ISOs. I know this is terribly general, but does anyone have a clue as to why this is not working? The program is pretty straightforward. I choose an option, make some change, hit "back", go to the next option, etc. - eventually I build the ISO and the info is lost.... Any advice would be appreciated.
