  1. Found the problem. The browse master had the firewall set to only see IP addresses between 1 and 35. We use IP's all the way up to 153. So, everyone with an IP above 35 could not get network information. Changed the browse master and it worked fine. Also changed the firewall settings for next time that machine gets elected. (Norton Firewall). Thanks everone!
  2. yes. file sharing is enabled on all pc's. and those that have printers, the printer sharing is enabled as well. any other ideas???...I'm lost.
  3. I've got a peer to peer network. DHCP assigned IP addresses thru a router. (also have 3 hubs) Operating systems range from Win98 to WinXP Pro. Two work groups. (a and b for simplicity) if I change my workgroup to b I can browse that workgroup and a few pc's in workgroup a (but not all of them on workgroup a) if I change my workgroup to a I can not browse anything. However, if I type in the address or use one of the shortcuts to the shared location, it works just fine. Why can't I browse while under the group a?? I've tried removing TCP/IP and resinstalling it. Tried restarting the Router. Tried assigning a static IP. Didn't work. Not sure what else to try.
