  1. so, there is no way except i have to type runas......, then my password manually?
  2. When i want to shutdown my computer in any time, i always use CMD. i use my limited account so that i have to use runas and i have to type my password to take my administrator privilege. can anyone tell me how to make it easier to shutdown my computer in single click by using batch?
  3. I try ti use AeroStudio as you suggested. but i dont know how to put it in my harddisk (i mean, my another harddisk in another computer).
  4. Let me have another improvement! Mr. Jaclaz, how can I change the GBUR4DOS appearance so that the list menu should not remain in black but has a nice look!? It would be great if I can use any animation image. Thank you!
  5. I am sorry to mr. jaclaz for being too late to come back to this forum. I was sick and let my work undone for long time. i used ptedit and set all the table to zero (after using any number from the list i got vailed). thanks. i did it. here what i did: i use my first partition as C: with Windows Home OS; the second partition is for T: and i put ghost.ima, my C: backup using ghost. I also install GRUB4DOS at T: and put my grub and menu.lst in it. it works fine. So when the first boot, in 3 second I can choose between entering the OS or using the ghost backup. Mr. jaclaz thank you for your help.

Unless you did something very very wrong while attempting to install mbldr, it won't "lose" your partitions , more probably you set them as "hidden" . :wacko: 1. in Available Partition, I chose my T: and C: 2. I chose F1, F2 for the key. 3. I hit the Save to MBR button. --- Werethey wrong!? I also couldn't find any button to hide and unhide partition.
  7. i didn't see any choices (button, checklist, etc.) in MBRLDR to hidu or unhide the partition!
  8. :no: i tried to use mbldr, but i lose my T: and D: Unfortunately i don't backup my mbr. when i run my laptop, i just found C: partition. help me, please!
  9. that's non-active partition, but it works. i mean the grub4dos runs from that partition. i just can't edit the menu.lst to make me enable to choose between OS and the restored data. o yeah, i installed win xp3 home in c:. i have read the guides, but i am still so confused to do something better.
  10. I am using NTFS, then what DOS I have to use to make my NTFS visible to DOS?
  11. I make my harddisk in 3 partitions. first in 3,1 Gb (T:), second in 40 (C:), and third (D:) is the rest. I want to make a backup recovery that I put in first partition, my OS in second partition dan the third partition is for data. I used ghost to backup my C: and put it in T:. then I use grub4dos, I put it in T: (Grub.exe, grldr and menu.lst. but then I don't know how to edit the menu.lst so that i can choose whether to go to OS or to restore the data back to C:. somebody help me! Thank You.
