  1. Dear Sir, I have a P3 machine with Award Modular BIOS with Trend Chipaway Virus Onguard v 1.65. I cannot install any operating system : Windows XP , 2000 & Mandrake Linux v 9.1 Windows XP & Windows 2000 show message like : PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA Check to make sure any hardware or software is properly installed. - Hide quoted text - while installing ( at the beginning or in between ) ************* Mandrake Linux simply cannot startup from the boot disk. ******************** Now my Hard disk works fine on the other PCs , but when I boot through the hard disk after the initial status bar screen, the computer simply reboots. There is no end to the reboot cycle. ********************************** Please Note: There is no problem with the hard disk & Operating System CDs. In the same Hard Disk I could install these Operating Systems on another PC with P4 processor & Vesta Motherboard. ********************************* The Hard Disk has been checked for viruses by AVG Antivirus and Norton Antivirus 2004. But no viruses have been detected. ************************************* I have disabled Trend Chipaway Antivirus from the BIOS. But that simply does not help. ************************************ What could be the problem? Is it some anti-virus or boot virus? how do I disable it ? where all could I find help? Gaurav.
