Older drivers just prevented connection to the internet all together. However when I took the computer to best buy to see if Geek Squad could make any sense of it, the problems subsided. I wonder if it's how I need to configure this card with my current router. it is a 2Wire 2701 HG-B or if I just purely need a new router because not only is it old but both B and 2Wire routers are pretty low quality.
Thanks for your input Andre, you have already been a big help to me with your past forum posts. However I have the Interrupt Moderation and the Offload options only in my unused Ethernet card, they are not in the advanced list for my WLAN card.
After scouring the internet for a solution to general lag and sound stuttering I've been experiencing I have discovered that it is caused by my Atheros AR9285 WLAN Card. Using DPC Latency Checker I have this output. The top is with my WLAN card enabled in device manager and the bottom is with it disabled. All my drivers are up to date so I have no idea what is causing this. Most solutions I have found were to disable the WLAN card and use a hard wire. This is not an option for me because I only have access to wireless internet. Thank you in advanced for reading and responding!
