  1. Sorry for the late response, guys, I moved house! Meanwhile, I found the password culprit - just press enter and u are in! However, it won't be a joy since folders are protected and what u can do is very limited since u dont have any admin rights. It's by default this way and permissions can be changed by a registry tweak only.
  2. Thanks guys! @DysfunktinaL I thought like this but my admin password was not recognised by the console @aresgodofwar Thanks for the link! I read there is a known problem with the console password making it impossible to login for many people.
  3. Had a similar problem: The XP ICS server is on 192.168.0.1 set all clients' static IP to 192.168.0.2 192.168.0.3 etc then clients' gateway to 192.168.0.1 once u reboot u should be online..at least here it works this way hth
  4. What password is this? my WinXP admin password? I tried this and it seems something else. Can I change it? - where? tia steve
