  2. i tried to make partition again by euses but same problem started ... i want to make hidden first partition of 1 gb and second for 20 gb i dont know how to hide it from xp anywayz i have made 1 gb partition and 20 gb partition , windows is installing in 20 gb partition.. C is 1 gb partition and D is 20GB i am installing windows in D:, lets se if it makes D as active partition and not C.................. C is active partition...now what should i do?

  4. hey thanks a lot it worked .. now xp is installing ... i made partition from xp .. but now i have only one partition, and i am affraid to use esues partition manger .. can u ell me any other good tool?
  5. i think it is a SATA drive ...dont know about using a SATA/RAID driver?

  7. i have used almost all the method today i made bootable flash with USB_prep8 and here is the procedure ...but same thing happen same error with sata enabled and by disablinng SATA controller it dosent install XP in any partition of my hdd SAYING ITS NOT A VALID PARTITION 1. Extract the two files above after the download has finished. 2. Go to the folder usb_prep8 that was extracted , then click usb_prep8.cmd. 3. At the command prompt screen that appears, press [Enter] and PeToUSB screen will appear. 4. Click the ‘Start’ to begin the process of formatting and don’t change any configuration. 5. Don’t close usb_prep8 and PeToUSB screens, just leave it open. 6. Open command prompt from Start -> Run, then type cmd and press [Enter]. 7. Through the command prompt, enter the directory/folder that has been extracted bootsect. 8. Type the command ‘bootsect.exe /nt52 R’ (without the quotes), replace ‘R’ with the appropriate USB Flash Disk drive letter. 9. Close the command prompt screen and PeToUSB screen, but leave usb_prep8 screen open. 10. Back to usb_prep8 screen and type 1 and then [Enter]. 11. Do browse according to the location of CD/DVD where the Windows XP installer is located. 12. Type 2 and press [Enter], then assign a drive letter (default T) and press [Enter]. 13. Type 3 and press [Enter], then type USB Flash Disk drive letter is located (for example F) and then press [Enter]. 14. Type 4 to start the process, then press Y and then [Enter] to continue the process. 15. Press [Enter] when “Press any key to continue” message appear. 16. Click ‘Yes’ if asking confirmation, the process will run about 15-30 minutes. just now i wiped all the partitions and created new .. but still same problem what log? do u mean boot.ini in my flash drive?

  9. i got success once and installed xp from the flash .but now it dosent work, i dont remember how i did it .. , have tried many tools and everything i could understand but evrytime it has the same problem that the partition of my hdd is not valid for xp to install ...i dont know what to do now... looked everywhere cant find anything to resolve this problem..... have tried booot ice , RMprep. USB multiboot 10, deluxorPE.,Novicorp WinToFlash , grub4dos........also tried triple mbr single mbr, pbr ... nothing works... i have no idea what part i am missing ... can anyone tell me ?
  10. i got success once and installed xp from the flash ... but now it dosent work, have tried many tools evrytime it has the same problem that the partition is not valid for xp to install ...i dont know what to do now...

Hello everyone i am a new user here i have made bootable flash it works fine but it only shows my flash drive to install windows it dosent show my hdd, i have made new partion on my hdd with esues partion master, i have 5 partions first partion is 1 GB which is unallocated second is 10GB which is primary and active .. 4 minutes ago - 4 days left to answer. Additional Details its a SATA hdd with 93GB partitions are made by desktop computer using USB CABLE cause my laptop dont have a CD ROM CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO?????????????
