  2. Thanks Jaclaz for this precious information, but where is the ROM Chip? On the the PCB Of course, but witch one of them, the big or the small one? I got a air heating soldering station, if its not too small i can transfer it, even if its too small a friend of mine have microscope with all the requirement stuff to do the job (Mobil phone repair), Maybe the next Tutorial will be this one: How to transfer Roms, Any way please indicate me the exact location of this Rom chip, Thanks a lot again
  3. I've put m0,2,2,,,,,22 The adapters i've made is Around MAX232 (from the datasheet) and seems to work fine May be the problem was more deeper affecting not only the Firmware, but the Heads or the Disk itself I continu to search and try What is the requirement to swap PCBs? Thanks

  5. Sorry another question Can i fix the pcb 2, i mean which part are probably burned and how to rocognise them (in my PCB there is no visible failure), can i use a common Electronic checker to test the parts? Is there other commands not listed in the tutorial?

  7. Can i put the PCB on my other HD, its the same model but he was victms of poweroverload, the pcb is out of service but the motor and the head seems to be Ok. I've try it before, the motor start, the head sound goog but nothing in the bios, seven seems recognise something but cannot acces it, some softwares too cannot do anything,

Thanks afrin, i'll check the cables,the HD runs but no answer at all with hyper terminal The way he crashed is the same as the BSY problemes described over the internet, Oh my god 500 Go of data (films, music, softwares ...) lost, and another HD of 500 Go too died by my hand when i made a mistake when plugin the power, I'm feel back to Neolithics, I have nothing, i lost at all 1 To, regain it will cost me years
