  1. For cute writer I've been using /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES /NORESTART /SP-, but it still prompts to download the converter from the site, so its either the install file I've been using, or... would there be a way to have it push through that prompt? Really important to my organization would be the option to install Office 2007 for example, with the ability to put in our personal valid key. I'm far from being any expert with MSI files, and I don't mean for this thread to be a nuissance to experienced members who are bothered by the newbie inquiries, but I wager this thread may help many others at the level. MSI files are regularly accompanied by an.. MST file, is that correct? And the MST file is like an answer file? When someone sets a .MSI as the target in the command tab, will WPI have an option to have the MST for it run along side to configure the install? Similar to pushing it out by GPO? Again, I greatly appreciate any assistance with this. The end game we're gunning for is to have all of our apps be able to install unattended, with an unattended windows install, to replace using Norton Ghost to deploy images. If this gets to be operational, will definitely do all I can to contribute back to this community.
  2. Hi folks, apologies first off if this post is in the wrong area, or a duplicate of an existing topic. (I'm a new user). I work for a small business, dealing with a few hundred computers, and have been looking into WPI as a solid alternative to using Norton Ghost and GPOs to get our software out to the desktops. The trouble that I'm having right now with WPI... I mean its great that it kicks off all the installs, but it's to make them run without requiring us to click "Next", "run", etc... The two applications I've been starting with, just to get familiarized with the software are Adobe Reader 9.4, and CuteWriter. Just trying to install apps that don't require Serial Keys to start with. I'm really hoping that I might find some help here from your forums' experienced users, whether by outright advising how I could get it to work with one of these two test apps, or directing me to other articles. I hate to say, I was originally naiive enough to think that the USSF picking up the silent install switches would get it to run unattended. Times like these I wish I took programming. Ty in advance for any help.
