All right, I've got the boot disk going, but what do I do with it? There's options like start with cd or without. Is there any way to just start up the computer, and allow me to get files from the my documents folder. I maybe should have said this earlier, but it may be a problem with the new boot screen I installed. It won't work after that. Please help!!

I think it is a fat32 partition. It's Windows xp pro. How can I make a win98se boot floppy? I have a password on my account. Will that make it impossible to get to? This is a laptop computer, can I still take the hard drive out and put it in another computer?

My computer won't start at all; safe mode, last known good config..... I'm really interested in just getting my important documents off the computer and starting everything over. I don't know how to make it start at all so I can get the files. If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it.
