? did you find a solution ? i i tryed another install and same problem. but there's something weird. If i reinstall the drivers (after install), the CP works ! i checked and the drivers are the same before and after i reinstall i don't understand what the problem is Please do that again, but use REGSHOT (or something alike) to get the reg changes. Export to txt/html (doesn't matter) and send it to me. (or attach it here) Here it is reinstall.rar -

Driverpack Massstorage - V5.03
snakesnake replied to Bâshrat the Sneaky's topic in The General Stuff
Thanks, but already knew that. But the question is: do the non-raid ones work when you've only added the RAID drivers??? The non raid drives are found I did not installed windows on those drives but i can see the partitions, i suppose it works then (only raid drivers integrated) -

Driverpack Massstorage - V5.03

I have a problem with SI 3114/3114R drivers of this package Before trying the driverpacks, i integrated myself those drivers without any problem i have an abit ic7max3, 2 drives are in raid and 2 other drives are not (4 drives on the si3114) if i use the package (method 1, didn't try method2), the drives that are not in raid are found, the ones in raid 0 are unknown. The solution i found is to delete the SI3114 drivers, and only keep the SI3114R drivers. I also included Siwinacc.sys in the I386 folder, and in txtsetup.sif (don't know if its absolutely necessary) This way, everything is OK My 4 HD are recognized Seems to me that the SI3114 drivers are useless (in my case, they are a problem) here are my modifications Delete folder DP\M\S\3114 File Patch_V006.cmd ADD MAKECAB /D CompressionType=LZX /D CompressionMemory=21 /L i386 "%I%\S\3114r\SIWinAcc.sys" DELETE MAKECAB /D CompressionType=LZX /D CompressionMemory=21 /L i386 "%I%\S\3114\Si3114.sys" File Add_to_txtsetupsif_V006.txt [SourceDisksFiles] si3114.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 DELETE siwinacc.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 ADD [HardwareIdsDatabase] PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_31141095 = "si3114" DELETE [SCSI.Load] si3114 = si3114.sys,4 DELETE Si3114r = siwinacc.sys,4 ADD [SCSI] si3114 = "Silicon Image SiI 3114 SATALink Controller" DELETE Has anyone else tryed this driverpack with Si3114/3114R ? -

i don't think the activation files uses the computer name i tried my method first in vmware (vmware gives an other name to my computer) with the activation files of my "real" computer, and it worked anyway, you can set a computer name in your unattend.txt (winnt and winnt32.sif) -

I dit this with NAV2005 french version If the files and dirs are the same, it shoud work in english : \Program Files\Common Files\ in french : \Program Files\Fichiers communs\ in other languages i don't know First install NAV 2005 on your system and activate it Create those directories in your install cd $OEM$\$1\install\NAV2005\ copy your original cd inside it $OEM$\$$\system32\ to place a file that will automaticaly copy inside \windows\system32 during the windows installation 1. cd key file create a file called "navreg.reg" inside the folder NAV2005 edit it and paste this Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\CCPD-LC\KStore\00000082\0000000f\0000001b] "Key"="XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" replace Xs with your cd key and don't type dashes (-) save and exit 2. creation of a self extract archive with activation files Activation files are here \Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\CCPD-LC You MUST boot in FAIL SAFE MODE to copy the files ! F8 at boot Open winrar Go to that directory select: symlcnet.dll symlcrst.dll symlctnk.dll (I'm not sure the 3 files are absolutely needed, but at least it works, maybe symlcrst.dll is enough) Click on "commands" ==> "add files to archive" click the button "profiles" "defauld profile" in "archive name" type CCPD-LC.exe archive format: RAR compression method: best archiving options: create SFX archive go to "advanced" tab and click on "SFX options" in "path to extract" type %systemdrive%\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\CCPD-LC\ and choose: "create in the current folder" now go to "modes" tab and click on "hide all" and "overwrite all files" click "OK" on all dialog boxes and close winrar Make a CUT/PASTE of CCPD-LC.exe inside the folder "$OEM$\$$\system32\" reboot windows in normal mode 3. integrate the last virus definitions files you can download the last version english: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen...ges/US-N95.html french : http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen...ges/FR-N95.html others : http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen...s.download.html extract all the files with winrar in the NAV install folder $OEM$\$1\install\NAV2005\VirusDef\ replace all existing files 4. batch file here is the batch for the silent install CLS @echo off ECHO. REGEDIT /S %systemdrive%\Install\NAV2005\navreg.reg ECHO. start /wait %systemdrive%\Install\NAV2005\NAVSetup.exe /O REBOOT=ReallySuppress /qb ECHO. taskkill.exe /F /IM symlcsvc.exe CCPD-LC.exe del "%systemdrive%\WINDOWS\system32\CCPD-LC.exe" EXIT I know we can replace "%systemdrive%\WINDOWS" with something else but i don't remember. It works this way
