Thank you for your help! The WinXP SP3 cd is official version. Not SP2+SP3. I even tried another WinXP SP3 cd. Not working. This afternoon, i did it again on a pure Winxp system by VirtualBox. The result was still the same. I think it may not caused by hfslip or system. It may caused by some needed components. However i don't know what it is. The process of slipstream showed no error. The ie8.cat can be found on i386\SVCPACK folder. It should can work.

HFANSWER.INI I never used that. And seems it is not necessary. CDIMAGE.exe I never used that too. I used UltraISO to edit the ISO.

I using the lasest version of hfslp 1.7.10-j & 1.7.10-j v4. The situation was still the same. I tried the WinXP SP3 English version with ie8 eng, didn't work. I tried to slipstream on another computer, did't work. I tried to slipstream ie8 with ie8 hotfixes, didn't work. I tried to put the iertutil.dll on hfexpert folder. There was no error during the installation. But after the installation, it will reboot again and again. I don't get it. What's wrong? Am i be cursed? Seem you don't have same problem. How do you do that, if you just want to intergrate the ie8 into WinXP SP3? Thanks!

Hi! I have a problem when ingergrated the IE8 into WinXP SP3. Hfslip slipstreams the IE8 into WinXP SP3 with no errors. But when i install the new WinXP, it always got an error during the installation. If i skip these errors, the installation can be done. After the installation, it will reboot again and again. The intergrated with IE7 is OK, no problem. IE8 just can't work. I don't know why. I use the Hfslip 1.7.9, slipstream the oringal WinXP SP3 with IE8 only, without any update or software. Can anyone give me a way to solve this problem? Thank!

But it couldn't work. For simple, i only had the IE8-WindowsXP-x86-CHT.exe in HF folder and the webmoc.cab in HFCABS. When i finished the slipstream and test the new winxp. It showed "can't find iertutil.dll" on T-24. My HFSLIP version is 1.7.9

Hello! I try to start a new winxp slipstream with ie8. It looks like need the ieaccess.cab in HFCABS folder. I don't have this one, and the hfsslip.org is down. So can anyone provide the ieaccess.cab, or tell me where to download? Many thanks!
