I would like to know how to add my gmail and yahoo webmail account to outlook express. It asks me for a url, but what url should i provide, has anyone encountered this problem. I just wanna be able to access all of my email accounts from one program...holla back

I have an ide hd, and an ide and sata mobo. The main connection is ide with master and slave on ide. now i wanna add a third hd and wanted to go sata. i purchased the little adapter that goes on the back of the ide drive to change the connection to sata and hooked it up to my mobo but now i have two problems. 1. which power wire should i use, the floppys or the regular ide hd power cord and 2. do i have to do anything in the bios to get the sata connection to work on my asus p4p 800 se mobo??????? holla back

Before i get to posting all that info, are there any back ups that will automatically shut down my comp, the proper way after so many minutes of no power?

Is there anything about my system i can tell you guys, which could help yall help select the right battery for me?

How would i know what size battery back up to buy? is there some type of online calculator i can check out. Is there various things on and in my machine i can add up to figure out how much, i wanna buy two to protect my computers and i don't wanna buy one thats too big, thats a waste of money and power, and i don't wanna buy one to small that'll just hurt my computers. I have just bought a windows xp pro os w/sp2 OEM installation kit,and noticed that on the front it says "Licensed for distribution only to specific countries within Latin America". What does this mean for me who lives in the Bahamas? I searched the internet and found a few others, and some say the US & Canada some say EU...can anyone tell me whats the difference? Is it functionality, is the one i have any less or more sophisticated, i would like to know before i install and get screwed. Holla back

Whats the best file lister on catalouger i can buy or find as freeware. Im trying to compile a list of all my files and want to do it quickly, can anyone recommend anything. Im looking for one that i can let it select a drive or folder and it will automatically create a list of everything in there.

i just visited the uk, and purchased a really cool cordless phone that i liked, they told me to get a converter and everything should be allright. Wron...the thing is not working, i have the right converter, but the ting is always blinking like its looking for a signal...can anyone help me?

i just formatted my hd, and during this process everything went well, except when i was finished, and the computer was at the windows xp page witht the little blue bars scrolling across the page, it went no further. i evennoticed that my monitor went from a green light to a yellow light almost indicating as if the comp was off, but the comp was infact still powered on. Itried restarting it, and it still didn't work, i tried waiting on the page, and that was of no avail...can some one recommend something for me to do

what program can i use, or what can i do to stop my girlfrineds little sister from donwloading stuff and having access to do things. the computer is sa standalone and is not on a network, i can start off by creating a user account gor my girl and protecting it with a password then create one for her lil sis, then set each ac couin t to limited user or whatever right, nbut what else is there i can do and far as programs....maybe there is one that asks for a password everytime dhe starts something up...holla back guys

im looking for the series of card that we hook up from the comps power switch to the mobo, and then are connected to the ide led, the speakers and thepower led pin connectors on my mother board, i just switch the mobo in my compaq case to a hp, and i think im not getting no power dure the slots and connectots not being in the right place, even if im wrong, can someone please point me in the right direction to what i want.

just recently purchased this dvd burner from new egg http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-131-239&depa=1 in its description it says 8x dvd-r burning capabilities, so all i have right now are 4x disks, and it wont allow me to burn on them, why is that, im thinking about sending it back, but i have a shipment of 8x disks coming, ....any suggestions as to why those disks aren't burning...holla back

has anyone ever had any problems with their internet connection being non existent due to spyware or a virus, i think this is what im going through, though i dont know what im looking for, i had 2 motherboard controller cards, then another one suddenly showed up one day in my scsi controller section, names A347SCSI SCSI CONTROLLER, does anyone have any ideas or wat else i can do, i also use to be able to start up my large hd 250 gb wd hd, but since that has shown up, i notice i dont boot up, i stay on the windows xp page, with the blue thing running across the screen...can some one help...holla back

i tried what yall told me,i removed two hds, and a mother board controller card, but upon going to reformat, i noticed that it wouldn't allow me, for some odd reason its like the reformatting process would start then stop at like 19%, its almost like the disc would stop reading as well...what the hell could this be....if yall can pull anything out of yalls mind of what can be wrong with my comp, ill be happy to try it and provide more info as well...holla back

lately ive been having alot of trouble with my foxconn mobo, its just freaking out on me, as of late i ran into some video card driver problems, and have had to buy a new card, the first one was an ecs ati radeon card, i just got an asus card, and they thing doesn't want to work....is there anything i can do to correct my problem. also, am i stressing out my computer with four optical drives and five hds all running at the same time, i have a p4 3.0 ghz, ht, 800fsb and 1gb of ddr ram behind me, with 5 pci slots, 1 usb 2.0 card, 1 tv tuner,( one by hauppage), 2 motherboard controller cards, one maxtor, the other a promiseultra car, another nic card, and an exhaust blower, all on 400 watts....please help me, these what i think are video card mainly issues, are realy bugging me, im about to buy a new asus mobo, what should i do....

i wanna know if any of you guys have a 200 or 250 gb hds, reason being i have had alot of them but to my experince they tend to fail, is there something i should constantly do to maintain health, eg, keep the drive working hard, i have a 250gb maxtor 7200 rpm drive, chock full of music, and im just lost for words at trying to keep these thngs going. mind you i do run my computer hard, i leave it on for days at a time just downloading stuff, and encoding movies. its near a window for ventilation and i think it has ample fans and everything else, can anyone plz recomend something to elongate the life of my drive...holla back
