Sorry, I forgot to mention that. I used imagex from WAIK 1.0 to cature image and filter from WAIK 1.1 to mount it with vlite. I thought this is a problem, versions are diferent. But now I used imagex from WAIK 1.1 and wimfltr driver from the same WAIK 1.1 version. Testing and installing only IE8 on fresh vista sp2 worked, I could use vlite 1.2 to load captured image, but when I installed all software I need and captured image vlite 1.2 could not load the captured image complaining about invalid string. Weird thing is that this wim image can be loaded with vlite 1.1.6 Any ideas? Maybe I will try to use WAIK for win7 to capture image? Can it be thta vlite 1.2 will load that image? Alex

Hi again, I was too fast to celebrate. Befor making full software install, I decided to check if capturing and vliting with thw same versin of imagex will work. I installed clean vista sp2 home premium and installed IE8. Captured image with imagex and tried to use vlite 1.2. And it worked, vlite loaded image. So I decided to make full software install on clean sp2 installation, again captured with imagex version 6001.18000 but vlite 1.2 ended with input string error. Very weird... Why this could happen? Even more strange is the fact that I can use vlite 1.1.6 on that image without a problem. WHY? Thank You in advance for any sugestions, Alex

Hi, I simply installed clean vista sp2 home premium, installed all needed software and captured image with imagex (flags HOMEPREMIUM, wim name Windows Vista HOMEPREMIUM) Now, when I try to vlite it with vlite sp2 I get error "input string was not in a correct format". So is there solution for this problem? I integrated just one update (hold'em) and upon first boot windows shuts down and keeps doing it each time pc logs to the screen "pls wait while windows is configuring updates" or something like that. I thought this is caused by windows update and winsxs removal with extreme switch but after tryng to keep those both I had the same problem. Tested on x86 machine with vista ultimate. Maybe someone found a solution and can share? what would be "keep list" for updating integrated hotfixes to work? Thanks in advance, Alex

@Acheron Script is perfect, everything is working fine, just a few small details to Your attention: 1. Disk image or saved project - window "Open" opens CENTERED, not default for nero, can this be fixed? In all toher instances nero opens window "Open" left-alligned. 2. Nero cover designer-file-open does not show hidden folders though nero in general always shows hidden folders. Can this be fixed as well? No generalizations here. thats just plain silly and unthinkable . I have the same problem with ethernet driver on my notebook. It complains something xcopy error when I try to install driver manually. But if I try to install updated driver it works fine. So I integrated this driver with vlite and no probs. What is wrong with the original sony driver Ion vlited system I have no clue. Tested only that it is not hardware support dependant. Alex

Man, welcome to the boat. It took me two days to figure out which comp You should leave for activation to work. With previous versions it was UAC You should leave, now Nuhi improved removal and it does not cause any trouble. But ONE marked in red is still at the trial state. You should leave it. Those other components You are suggested to keep, You can safely remove! Do not want to hurt Nuhi, You are already left with a few to test! Alex

@MagicAndre1981 I would not bother Nuhi if my wim would be corrupted. And I made it using imagex, of course. I was asking to clear if it is possible to use vlite on it cause drivers are already integrated into that wim by Sony as well and that is the problem. Hi Nuhi, I made install.wim for sony notebook from sny files and it works fine while using to restorewim from d on c. But trying to use vlite on this wim I get error. Can this be avoided somehow? Would be nice to have original sony files for vista and cut all bloatware. Thanks a lot, Alex
