  1. Indeed and I don't want to complain. I am just suggesting. When you launch latest version of Nlite, this first screen displays MCE support.
  2. Ok seems I got this ok... I just downloaded the setupqry.inf then setupqry.dll, then got a third error message regarding games.inf and corrected that applying solution described in "setup was unable to open information file games.inf" thread of msfn. Nlite well at that stage is more complicated than I thought, I must confess.
  3. Same for me. But I don't know if it worked prior to installing SP3.
  4. Following instructions in the thread you suggested I managed to achieve a globally working install : I merged CD1 and CD2 in the same folder I applied Nlite and juste before ISO creation modified winnt.sif and the other .sif I added the ID tag for CD2 at root Thanks for your help. It is just too bad that these steps aren't situated in an easily found place like Nlite faq on the Nlite webpage. It is problematic since Nlite claims support for MCE. According to me, support after tweaking is not support. Well anyway I am glad it turned out well. But now I have another problem : when I try to open the "add remove windows components" windows module I get error : "setup was unable to open information file setupqry.inf". Any help fixing that ? Thanks
  5. I am currently searching. Here is my last session. I read somewhere that nlite would "ask for cd2" if I just applied my last session settings to CD1 (pro) but nlite never asked for cd2. Last Session (2010.08.04-02.55.08).ini
  6. I think I am willing to start from scratch. But how does it work ? Do I have to apply winlite to media center cd 1 and then to cd 2 using the same options ?
  7. I didn't apply Nlite twice. Sorry, I cannot find any session.ini file or "last session.ini" There were two cd's but I figured I only had to provide for one i386 folder path so I selected the MCE CD instead of the PRO CD. Apart from that I now have the problem that when I try to start Windows firewall I get "Error 1075: the dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion".

    wbcache

Hello, My name is Fred, I am 32 and computer enthousiast. I recently customized a Windows MCE 2005 with Nlite and integrated Nvidia AHCI drivers in it. Upon installing, I came across error message "setup cannot copy the file: wbcache.deu" I ignored it by pressing Esc and had the same messages for a dozen of other languages : wbcache.fra, etc. I ignored them all and the installation went on. Is it normal ? Can I have a problem in Windows without these files ? Thanks for any help. Fred
