Hello Thanks for replying and trying, I clicked but no repair option. I am not going to give up even if it takes me all year lol. I am using a dial up connection to not sure if that means much but worked with them and change everything possible to even installing my connection manually they said there nothing else they can do. I'm thinking of updating to SP2 fingers crossed. Thanks debb

Hello I have a new hp window xp home edition computer 2.60 GHz, 512 mb, 160 GB desk top. I have been having an error problem that seems not too common and would like some help. I have been working on things to rule out but no luck so far. This is the error TCP/IP checking network protocol reported error 1450. Insufficient system resource exist to complete the requested services. Worked with my internet services and did everything possible with them, next called hp and they sent me a new modem that didn't resolve it. I have a friend trying to help me and he installed a second new modem that didn't help either. I just uninstalled my sygate firewall to see it that makes a difference that’s still pending. Next I might upgrade to service pack 2 to see if that helps. One more thing monitor new, tower was floor model this was a gift not from my same state and store claims it was never online I don't know if that makes a difference What happens is after I leave my computer on but disconnected for over night say I try in the morning to connect and that’s when I received the error but when I reboot I can get connected it works every time I reboot. Anyone have an idea what could be causing this or what I can do to. Thanks debb
