I'm lurking every posts on av for 98, but nobody has yet mentioned the VirIt explorer. The commercial version has real-time. The free version has one intrusion detection system. It's only detects every autorun insert in real time. Limited but very helpful tool. One extra protection than duo clamwin with clamsentinel. Am i only using it and know it here?
