  1. Thanks guys. I brought the files to work with me and have managed to get the image created here. But will try the unlocker app and disabling virus softwares, as having it working at home is important as I'll be making changes to the image for vmware purposes.
  2. Hi Guys I have been using nLite for years with no problems. Recently my PC got infected with a virus and I needed to reinstall my main workstation from scratch. For some reason when I run nlite, I get a problem when 'Locating the windows installation'. It starts to pick it up and then crashed with the following error. ================================================================== Microsoft .Net Framework Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately. The process cannot access the file 'D:\folder\folder\root_of_dvd\usbport.sys' because it is being used by another process. See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file D:\folder\folder\root_of_dvd\usbport.sys' because it is being used by another process. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share) at System.IO.FileInfo.Open(FileMode mode, FileAccess access) at ..(String[] ) at ..() at ..WndProc(Message& ) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ================================================================== If I click quit then it just closes and if I click continue it just freezes. I have tried it on 2 machines with 2 different original XP discs. Can anyone help please?
