I am trying to make a disc as well from a slip streamed XP Home, it has taken me 46 attempts so far and still bits are missing like the recycle bin. I thought it would be a doddle but its not. So looking forward to some suggestions from others...

Hi, Still trying to get a clean install, nearly there but for the following: Recycle bin does not show on desktop? When windows starts up from fresh install, warning message is displayed stating that it is not able to display account as password does not match, even though I have unchecked password required on the screen for unattended install LAST SESSION.INI

Ok, So what I need to do each time I make a change to any of the settings in nLite such as tweaking the Services settings I should create a new source, then point nLite to this new copy???

Sousemouse, we need to see your Last Session. As it says in large bold RED above, please attach (not paste) it. We also need to know any errors you got in running nLite and installing - you should get none. Screen shots would be very useful. Please make sure you have selected the nLite option Tweaks-Boot and Shutdown to Disable automatic restart on System Failure. This should allow you to see the Stop Code - please post it. Enjoy, John. Hi, This is my first post and newbie to nLite. I have created a customized install disc using nLite and by following the tutorial as found on the site http://wiki.eeeuser.com/howto:nlitexp, when I came to install the iso using Virtual box, when it got half way through the Windows XP wizard it restarted itself and wanted to rewrite over the space it had just created. This is very strange. I did get a few errors on the first install but these where related to cab files that I had created using Addon Maker, for such programs as Firefox.
