Correct, the explanation is in the top yellow info bar for the blue ones, and on the right of the component in the Extra Info for the locked ones.

Blue locked Components require a License.

What, an NTLite License? I'll be getting one when I have to go this direction, just wanted to know for sure.

  2. Sorry ahead of time if I posted in the wrong place,

I Like to install Users program files. Programs files (x86) on a separate partition or disc. Usually I do it manually during install and have to do Users just after by creating an Admin account named Z and during and after remove the account and delete it's files. I can't get computor data to move with out all kinds of problems. I think it's because I have an OEM or factory OS.

So if I was to use a regular OS disc would there be a way to do this unattended, in Vlite or any other way instead of the manual way.

    Thanks, T

  3. Hi Fernando,

I have a problem installing Xp32 through the Marvell 6121 eSATA. I can get as far as two thirds of the blue ribbon on the first lap in detecting and instlling devices. I had the same problem with Xp64 so I used the orange silicon image sata ports in drive expert single mode. and was able to install. I would like to use those ports for two SSDs in raid which leaves me with the Marvell. Any thoughts?

    ASUS P5Q-E

    AHCI10R

    wxpsp3ao2.ini

  4. well when I installed a moded xp 64 on it I didn't have much trouble, but xp 32 is being a pain I dropped the Marvell driver in the hotfix space in nLite and so far I am only able to get it to install as far as detecting & installing devices. The progress bar is about two thirds across on its first lap. Been sitting there for about an hour now. So for now I 'm at the wall. chek put my ini[attachment=32300:wxpsp3ao2.ini

  5. ASUS had to use a Marvell 6121 SATA controller for my eSATA port on my P5Q-E. So in order for me to set up my 6 intel SATA internals to AHCI I have to hook an optical to the Marvell and install from there. The problem as I suppose alot of you know is the Mavell driver is 2 exe files along with ini files and I don't know what goes with what, or at least which set to use and how to set them up to install in the image. So here I am all broken hearted, tried to nLite but only farted.

    any help please?

  6. I have 2 PCs, one with an ASUS MAximus Extreme and the other witha P5Q-E. If I was to combine the drivers in nlite, Would it work? Has any one been successful or attempted it?

  7. I installed sp64 sp2 on 2 racks but I only have 1 key . Where can I find a legal key or copy

to use the key from. Every where I find one the price is way high everything else looks illegal.

Called Activation to see if I could get a break and some guy in India answered.

  8. Fernado,

Thanks for setting up these files for us. It's way easier to load them froom here rather than going

through intels swamp of what the hell.I have an ASUS Maximus Extreme MOBO with 6 internal

ICH9R Sothbridge Intel MSM SATA Ports and 2 external JM363 SATA ports

If possible I would like to run my internals in AHCI mode which means I would have connect one

of my internal optic drives to the external port to intall my drivers with the OS I don't know If I can

use the RST rivers or not but I guess they would be the better drivers.

AS I understand it I would have to change the IDE setting to AHCI in BIOS prior to install. I read

that when loading the TXT mode drivers in nLite to instal as single drivers not multiple, is that so.

Did I also understand that I can not mix TXT with PNP drivers on nLites driver list.

Could you please set me strait on all of this so I don't end up over my head before I know it.

I attached my User manual for your reference if needed

Well I guess the pdf is too large so here's the link

  9. Kurt, Should I combine all the files in the two AddOns folders to make one and then do the same with the three RunOunce folders? Sould I put directx_Jun2010_redist.exe intto the RunOunce folder?. Please don't continue to post page one for an answer. I have read that several times and if I fully understood iti wouldn't be asking you questions.

  10. I have an XP PRO 64 sp2 disc and I don’t want WMP. I’m trying to follow Kurts guide but it is very confusing.

This is what I think goes into nLites Hotfixes Addons and Udate Packs integration

    Media Fire\Hotfix_XP-64_A_Nov10\WinXP-64_sp2a\Hotfix

    Media Fire\Hotfix_XP-64_B_Nov10\WinXP-64_sp2a\Hotfix

    PLUS

    5er_IE8_Addon_2009-03_4_x64.7z

    IE8-WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB2360131-x64

    IE8-WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB976662-x64

    IE8-WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB981332-x64

    IE8-WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB982664-x64

    IE8Tweaks.7z

    Kels_CPLBonus_x64_Addon_v2.rar

Or All this goes into nLites: Hotfixes Addons and Udate Packs

    integration

    5er_UpdatePack_XPx64SP2_2010-MM_V.7z

    PLUS

    5er_IE8_Addon_2010-MM_V_x64.7z

    RunOnce\IE8-WindowsServer2003-x64

    RunOnce\IE8-WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB976662-x64

    RunOnce\IE8-WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB981332-x64

    RunOnce\IE8-WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB982632-x64

    RunOnce\IE8-WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB2360131-x64

    IE8Tweaks.7z

    Kels_CPLBonus_x64_Addon_v2.rar

    These have RunOunce & AddOns.

    Media Fire\Config_XP-64_26Nov10

    Media Fire\Hotfix_XP-64_A_Nov10\WinXP-64_sp2a

    This only has RunOunce.

    Media Fire\Hotfix_XP-64_B_Nov10\WinXP-64_sp2a

how does this get assembled before I drop the files and folders into

my directory after integration like the picture shows? Where do I put

the applications that you have batch files for? Which RunOunce folder do put

    directx_Jun2010_redist.exe?

I see TweakUI in there so is that going to be installed?

  11. throbert, as a start, please change your title (edit your first post) to something meaningful (see forum rules). Your reference .ini obviously confused Sp0iLedBrAt and did little to help anybody. Please post an up to date Last Session.ini for your system. Running nLite under W7 to create an ISO for XP is problematical, especially if you are adding a Service Pack. I suggest you take another look at Kurt_Aust's post. It is a great source of information. It tells exactly how to integrate .NET and DirectX. It is a little much at first but is a great reference and I use it often. I suggest you do not need any hot fixes from MediaFire. Please go to the forum where 5eraph presents his update pack , IE8 etc for answers to questions concerning them. Enjoy, John.

Well my intention was to give you a look at what I wanted to do to my XP64 minus the drivers and fixes. So what I did was ran 2 instances of nLite one with no ini and the other with a copy of this ini. I deleted the drivers, fixes and renamed it before I loaded it. I was going to copy all the settings to the first instance but decided to save the second instance and see if the header changed. Have a look now and let me know what else I can do to speed things up. I plan on using this for live instrument hosting and DAW purposes.

  12. So I’m trying to make an nLite of my xp pro 64 Disc. I’m using an nLite ini for reference to make changes (check attacment) it’s from a DAW Forum and it’s intent is to lean down and speed up a 32 bit OS, no I don't plan on using any of the drivers or fixes and patches.

I started by going to “how to create a fully up to date XP x64 DVD, argh.

I used Sersphs post SP2, IE+addons and his IE Tweaks. no problem integrating but below seraps link at how to create...... there’s the directx redist and i Can’t get that to integrate at all. I’m also not sure if that’s all I have to do in the hotfixes patches area because also below Seraphs link at how to create......there’s a:

Once again there is an archive with the smaller hotfixes at MediaFire, argh. So do I need to do the MediaFire thing now

Not sure what I need to do, I’m thinking I might be bloating it out with all this stuff.

I’m running nLite on my laptop with W7 home Premium. Don’t know if nLite should be installed in programs or X86. Either way it works, I think. I’ll be needing to install Net framework 4 and other programs and I don’t know where I do that in nLite, or if I have to integrate them post some how.
