Someone in this post wasn't sure whether a VLK Corporate version would be leaked out? Well going to eDonkey and searching, lo and behold there's a VLK version. Downloaded it and burned it to a CD, then installed it. Ran without a hitch, and it asked for the VLK, which the man who upped the ISO was thoughtful enough to put inside the ISO. Needless to say I'm running the real deal and I didn't have to activate it either (and NO timebomb).

After all the gold masters had been sent to their companies. That's when I searched for mine and found it. Five days later...BOOM. It's here. In short, this thing is real folks, especially if the ISO you get is from a man who goes by the name Hitman450. Addendum: The Corporate version has NO Windows Activation at all to get in the way, and the copy of the ISO I downloaded had the key included. You can tell a corporate version as it will ask for a VLK (Volume License Key).

I wonder if I should tell Microsoft about this. S) Seriously, I don't expect them to respond to my email, but **** if it isn't funny that they changed their prices so quickly. I do know Microsoft wouldn't be terribly happy finding out that someone is selling their software for a profit. These guys are just sooooo lame.

I just love tormenting idiots. This is what I sent the guys who decided to charge such a ridiculous sum for RC-1. And thankfully I didn't have to buy it, Microsoft sent it to me just for attending one of their promo thingies. [i:6e9cfcdc4c]Now let me ask you a question here. Why in the name of God would I want to spend $100 for a pre-release copy of Windows XP? Especially considering that RC-2 is STILL AVAILABLE from Microsoft for a tenth of that price ($9.95)?
