Go to the "Startup"-tab and uncheck the box next to that installer. You can also find (some of) these settings in the registry: Greetz, Peter. None of the ideas posted here have worked. If I disable Windows Installer Service, msiexec stops loading, but I have to re-enable it everytime I want to install something. Andy

I installed an SDK and apparently something went wrong. Whenever I log in, I get a screen showing the installer is trying to start. How can I get rid of that message? Thanks.
