  1. FYI, this can also be caused by McAfee Antivirus. They just changed something that seems to trigger on the sfc_os.dll that nlite seems to have modified. Lots of services use it (automatic updates and print spooler are the two most obvious). When McAfee cannot clean it, it schedules it to be removed at next reboot. Hilarity ensues. You can try adding an exception in the "Potentially Unwanted Programs" category and then restoring the dll. Then printing works, and it sounds like Automatic Updates should work again (testing that now).
