Hi everyone! Today I tried to remove some components from a windows to make it smaller. I must have removed something I shouldn't have because after I installed the Windows and updated it using Windows Update (also installed .NET Framework) I got this error on the next boot: 'Unable to call the function "dllinstall" in the file "C:\WINDOWS\System32\webcheck.dll" because that function does not exist or is not exported' I wanted to ask you guys if this is a problem and if it is what did I remove that caused it? BTW the Windows is working OK now and I've noticed no other problems by now. Thanks in advance! P.S: Here's the contents of the setuperr.log: ??????: Setup detected that the system file named [c:\windows\system32\expand.exe] is not signed properly by Microsoft. This file could not be restored to the correct Microsoft version. Use the SFC utility to verify the integrity of the file. *** ??????: Setup detected that the system file named [c:\windows\system32\winntbbu.dll] is not signed properly by Microsoft. This file could not be restored to the correct Microsoft version. Use the SFC utility to verify the integrity of the file. *** Last Session.ini
