I am looking for a driver for a Trident 4DWave-DX SV750 Sound Card for Windows XP. ANy one out there with a driver or help (I have no sound or mic right now). Thanks

Can I then just hook it up to the IDE cable used for the CD?

I have three regular internal hard drives but space for only two in my computer. Is there any way to hook the third one up through a USB, firewire, or even one of the CD bays to use it as a back-up drive???

Guess i will have to turn off the auto update. It is still saying it is an update even when i got rid of quicktime 3.0

The only one that was flagged upon install was Quicktime 3.0. Strange that i still have that on my system. So i have just removed that program and we will see what happens...

Windows keeps on informing me I have a critical update (the Application Compatibility Update). So I install it, and it installs successfully. Then a couple of hours later, it informs me I have the same critical update to do. And on and on and on for two weeks now!!!

I keep on receiving the Application Compatibility Update as a Critical update. It says i have installed it successfully three times now! Whats up?

My printer shows up in the "Printers and Faxes" in the control panel, ready and waiting for me to print, which works perfectly.

OK, so my HP712C printer works. But every time I start winXP it says it found new hardware and trys to install the printer again. It then searches for a driver (i put in the XP disk aswell), and says it can't find a more up-to-date driver. Whats the deal????!!!

I have the same drive and got the same error each time with CD Maker. After reinstalling WinXP without the CD, and then adding the CD later, it finally recognized the CD as a burner. I currently use Nero to burn my music.
