  1. I feel like an id***. The problem has been solved. Using GImageX, I created two images, one with the boot option and one without. I've used the bootable image and didn't even have to use bcdboot. THanks for the quick reply, cluberti!
  2. Hey All, I'm new to this forum, and forgive me if the only reason I joined is to ask this question. My problem is that after I partition my drive and image (using GImageX) I then run bcdboot c:\windows. It will successfully make the Windows partition bootable but I'll end up with 2 instances of Windows 7 at the bootmgr. Here are the steps i take: Partitioning drive: diskpart select disk 0 clean create partition primary size=100 select partition 1 format quick fs=NTFS label="System Reserved" assign letter=T active create partition primary select partition 2 format quick fs=ntfs assign letter=C active Imaging partition(s): Run GImageX Image C: with windows image Image T: with system reserved image Make Windows Bootable: bcdboot c:\windows I'm not really running an unattended installation but an OOBE installation. After i get through the OOBE and restart I'll end up at the boot manager requesting I choose between two instances of Windows 7. Either one I choose will get me in, though. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks, John
