U r right! i won't look for it anymore it's like a pain in the a** i'll stop here i mean with Norton only silent installation no silent updates...

The problem with Norton issue is that have been discussed endlessly which cause confusion for many people which one is final and where to read and one of them is me... i did search and research before posting!... i tried copying and make sfx from the Virusdefinition folder found after installing and updating my system but the problem with that is i don't know why after i install it silently and i add that virus definition to its place after i make liveupdate i'm having errorrs from symentec concerning liveupdate... any helo!

i'm still not able to delete it yet...

I'm trying to make my own boot screen... i don't have paint shop pro i do have adobe photoshop but my problem is i'm not having JASC-PAL format... to edit the color palette. Has anybody managed to it with Adobe photoshop without using paint shop pro? and how thx in avance

I just figured out form one of the links i found here the way to update the virus definition of NAV. the one i found is for NAV 2003 but it seems to be the same for NAV2005...the way i did is: i extracted the virus definition file (20050516-022-i32.exe) and i replaced all it's contents inside the VirusDef file found inside my NAV installation folder. So I guess now i have updated the virus definition of my NAV2005 CD! isn't it? what next! i can't find here or figure out where to download and how to update the other files which normally NAV updates. they are more or less 4Mgs... Thx in advance!

is there any way i can avoid doing that? i mean by trying it on the pc i'm working in by applying runonce to it? if it's possible how i should ammend the runonce to be able to do it to test the switch If it's possible a brief explanation

First of all thank you for helping me, and excuse my poor knowledge here but i'm managing <1) If You have the last version ov vmware, use the clone option just after the clean install. With the clone, you'll have a clean version to use whenever you want. > In fact i do have the latest version of Vmware but i don't understand what does clone do. i'll have a duplicated operating system exactly the same as the one i'm cloning but what for! And about taking a snapshot: i always use VMWare with ISO file i make... so let's suppose while i'm installing windows using vmware i take a snapshot 2minutes before windows will finish installing. and i realized that i have a bug so the way normally i do i correct the switch or whatever and i make ISO again and i come back to VMWare to see if it works... do u mean that by having a snapshot i can avoid installing windows one more time and coming immediatly to the place i took the snapshot using my new ISO? Hope u'll understand me too! and sorry for my bad english as well! NK

each time i'm trying to install silently any application i have to install windows using vmware and wait 1hour approx! is there any way i can avoid doing that? please any brief complete ecplanation would be helpfull and usefull for me thx in advance
