I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. Greetings. I am having a problem where there is a task located at \CCLEANER, but I am getting errors when I start GUI Task Scheduler and when I try to query or delete the task via schtasks In the GUI I get the error: An error has occurred for CCLEANER Error message: The specified account name is not valid. And, the task is not listed in the GUI interface. So, I tried from the command line. I can see the task \CCLEANER when I type schtasks However, if I try any query, delete etc using the /TN switch, I get the error: ERROR: No mapping between account names and security IDs was done. So, I cannot delete the task from the command line. I have uninstalled ccleaner. If anyone can tell me the source of the error and how to fix it, that would be great. I did not want to try anything before I understood what is happening. Thanks, Jay
