  1. Thank you, I deleted the task from the registry. That seemed to stop the ccleaner problem. I now get an error that task (0) has a problem. I checked out the %windir%\tasks and it's a pretty sparse directory. I have a job to start skype, and it does not appear in the task folder. I have two questions 1) Why the error (picture attached) 2) Where are the jobs stored (picture attached) I would appreciate anyone's insight on dealing with task scheduler. jay
  2. Yes, my command prompt was elevated.(right click run as administrator)
  3. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. Greetings. I am having a problem where there is a task located at \CCLEANER, but I am getting errors when I start GUI Task Scheduler and when I try to query or delete the task via schtasks In the GUI I get the error: An error has occurred for CCLEANER Error message: The specified account name is not valid. And, the task is not listed in the GUI interface. So, I tried from the command line. I can see the task \CCLEANER when I type schtasks However, if I try any query, delete etc using the /TN switch, I get the error: ERROR: No mapping between account names and security IDs was done. So, I cannot delete the task from the command line. I have uninstalled ccleaner. If anyone can tell me the source of the error and how to fix it, that would be great. I did not want to try anything before I understood what is happening. Thanks, Jay
  4. I am trying to get the random look you would get from using a real typewriter. Typewriter fonts can look 'real'...but each letter looks exactly the same, and there are combination where the repetition doesn't look right. I was wondering if there was an app or method of switching fonts as you type. I don't know if there is functionality in windows to define more than one character for each letter. Or if there is a way to switch randomly between nearly identical fonts, to get a random look one would get from a typewriter. Thanks for any assistance with this question! -j
