  1. Can I Recover windows 7 from BASE.WIM ?

    Well i was trying to install Linux and formatted the Recovery partition and messed my windows 7. And no i didn't burn the recovery DVDs and when i looked on HP's website and i couldn't find Recovery DVDs ORDER for my model. I have a DV6 1390 and yes it is still under warranty.

    Hi,I have been trying to recover my windows 7 from BASE.WIM Which is in H.P Recovery partition. I have Base.wim which is and boot.wim and all the other files found in the recovery partition ( backed them up earlier ). Please help , How can i recover my windows using these files ?? Thank you all in advance.
