  2. Hi there! i was wondering..... in Windows 98 the OEM installation there allowed companys to enter user information and product key when you pressed a certain key on the desktop. is it possible to make the same type of installation of Windows 2000 and Windows XP(PRO)? Best Regards.... Retro....

I have a problem disabling the Internet Connection Wizard under my unattended Win2k Pro installation i have tried the following reg tweaks to remove it: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel] Connection Wizard [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel] Connwiz Admin Lock they have been set by a DWORD value of 1 i have tried using them at the same time and only 1 of the time, but the wizard still pops up the internet Explorer is Version 6 if any off you has any suggestions please tell me so im all out of ideas now
  4. in Winnt.sif in my [GuiRunOnce] i have 3 scripts install.bat hotfixes.bat and removing.bat SVCPACK.inf that file installs all my hotfixes and also the IE ver 6 that works fine under the installation i have tried adding the attached file to the scripts here but that is where the error occurs. any ideas now? Install.bat i use that to install programs like WinRAR and WMP9 etc. Hotfixes.bat i use this one to install hotfixes for WMP9 Removing.bat to delete $oem$ created folders after install and reboot the machine
  5. I Have tried that, but i still doesn't work i get a Rundl32.dll error... any1 else got some suggestions?

  7. Thank you very much for the answers i used jrzycrim example code, cause my script is in the install directory... i works perfectly now
  8. i have created a Unattended Windows XP Pro installation. i have used the $oem$ structure to install programs like Winrar and Adobe Reader. but when the installation is complete, the directories in which the executables lie, isn't removed. i have tried making a batch script that removes the folders and reboot the PC. it looks like this: this script is run from winnt.sif [GuiRunOnce] section but it only removes the install directory and does nothing more. but if i take the script and run it after the installation is complete it works perfectly. can someone give some hints/help?
