Finally... Got into the forum. Had problems logging in before for some reason but admin fixed everything. So Hi everyone! Anyway, straight to the point. I'm like some people here, attempting to update and create a final "perfect" version of Windows 2000 Professional slipstream as support ends on July, 2010. I know there are still some of you out there that are trying to do the same thing. Thus I think we need to unite and think of a plan to help one another instead of all trying to do the same thing. I see that some people are working only on getting the correct slipstream hotfixes. Some want the last version of software for Windows 2000 particularly the Microsoft ones (knowing how they just start to disappear) and some want to know what XP version of files can be used/replaced instead of the Windows 2000 ones. Let's just say I've been trying to do all of the above...and have been epically failing. Mostly because I don't have that much time on my hands. So to all W2k users that are still out there. I call you all so we can unite and create one final "perfect" version of Windows 2000 before it goes (even if we all stop using it afterwards), particularly to bristols who seems to be the only one maintaining the Windows 2000 Hotfixes site. And yes, I know, I know, this IS a welcome thread. LOL So once again, Hi, everyone and see you all around. Retsam
